Thank god they didn't make it a fomo release again by putting it behind a steelbook this time. I really dislike that sony did that for Lawrence and Taxi Driver

It's such a gorgeous set, though! Those matching slipcovers are things of beauty, and the Fangoria magazine is a genuinely nice addition. Currently the Amazon price for this is 1/3rd of the total I paid for the set (although I realize it will drop.)

Anyway, very happy this is coming out for those who only are after ST, but I have no regrets at all.

Considering I already had Pet Sem, disliked Smile intensely, and didn't care either way for Crawl, I'm glad I held out on buying scares, even if I still need to get Rosemary's as well. At least getting just those two will be far less than buying the whole set.

Next time, the sets would be far more appealing if they were all new to 4k titles, a la the Columbia sets, which the Scares set seemed to try to imitate

Not personally something I would get but I'm glad the impending merger isn't stopping Paramount from just saying "screw it, give them everything!" More wins for everybody.

Bought the set for $50, sold off the others, basically got "ST" for free. A little legwork was worth it. It just looks beautiful.

Discs like this were in the pipeline long before the merger. It's 2025 output I'm worried about.
