Great news. My AMC completely botched their showings of this by putting it in a theater that I was later told probably had a projector bulb going. During the trailers and as the film started, the entire screen was blue at certain points where it should have been well-lit, and there was a large yellow stain in the center of the screen, to boot.

But that isn't the most depressing thing.

The most depressing thing is that the auditorium was mid-sized, about half full, and I was the only one who left and requested a refund. Everyone else watched the entire film like that, including the person I went with.

So now, I'll happily watch this for the first time on Blu-ray from the UHD combo pack.

This was a good movie. Can't wait to buy it.

But I too, had a bad experience at the theatre. I went to see it this past Saturday and it seemed like I would be the only one watching it. Once the previews started this group of mentally challenged or handicapped (not sure what would be PC here), sat in the theatre and they were with like 2 other shapperones. They were loud and making all sorts of noises throughout the whole film. And the shapperones kept talking.

I literally wanted to complain to them, but I would seem like a complete *******.

Why on Earth though do they think it would be okay to bring them to a theatre if they know they're going to be loud and make noises the whole way through? I understand they have "problems" and all that, that's fine. But have some consideration for people who spend their money on a ticket to watch a film without any interruptions. It's ridiculous.

No offense to anyone, I know they deserve to go out and do things as well, but come on man.

Awesome! I enjoyed this quite a bit in the theater. Didn't blow my mind or anything, but I enjoyed it, and I'm glad to see it making its way to 4K.

Looking at the title: "Mule, The 4K Ultra HD Digital 4K Ultra HD"

It's another Crazy Rich Asians & The Nun situation.

Pre-ordered, this will make for a nice addition to my collection.

Hey Warner Bros, how about Gran Torino in 4K while you're at it?

Heard mixed things but it’s Clint so it’s my duty to buy it. Now, for the love God please give us the Dirty Harrys in a nice boxset.

This has happened to me a couple times actually. I just got up, and asked for a refund so I could see something else. It can be hard sometimes and you aren't a "*****", but just remember, their lives on a daily basis are much more difficult than yours. It's something that we can all forget on this crazy earth, and a movie in the scheme of their lives is not even worth thinking about.

(PS - it's chaperone, not shapperone - not judging, just helping the next time you need to use it!)

Theatrical 'technical difficulties' seemed a whole lot worse during the 35mm days. Several times I remember the projector wasn't even centered and so a decent amount of the picture was visible to the left and right on the screen on the wall where there was no screen material. And the discount theater used to get movies so beaten up that probably looked as bad or worse than 70s grindhouse/drive-in reels.

But back on topic, thought Mule was awesome and I'd love to watch it again.

Good movie. The Atmos track should be incredible.

Yes, that last part was a joke.

I need to resee it since I fell asleep on it near the end - after the Waffle House scene and waking up in time to see the very ending.

I saw this on day 1 and will definitely pick up the 4K. Not sure if it was the movie itself or the theater I was at, but the dialogue was hard to hear because the volume seemed extremely low. Anyone else experience this, or possibly the theater I was at?
