If Arrow had any decency, they'd withhold all Paramount releases from the UK forever so I don't feel like a complete twat for importing them all from the USA!

why are they not releaseing a blu-ray release as well in the UK like they did for the US release is it because they released it on blu-ray in the US.

Or release the ones I missed out on, like Barbarella, not the ones I paid a premium to import!

Wait, so the Arrow store says the exclusive version has an O-card with the original artwork? Looks like the UK is getting stiffed, as the US store exclusive had the original artwork on the hard box inside too.

oh wow Arrow are really going cheap!

I will NOT be buying any Original Arte exclusives in which the only thing that is exclusive is a flimsy O card.

All the sudden the US Art Original Limited Edition value is solid.

I never buy the Extra Cardboard edition of anything. Just give me the Standard Edition.

Paramount letting Arrow handle all the UHD releases world-wide would be far more the decent thing to do.

Received my copy today and yes, the OG art is on the slip only. The rigid box itself still bears that hideous new artwork. There's no escaping it!

Yes, mine arrived too with the slipcover. Bit of a disappointment that. It really makes these arte original editions less appealing. Compared with, say, Dragon Fist it really comes over as a downgrade.

It came in a Jiffy bag but escaped any dings, thankfully.

The card in the box is John Woo’s Hardboiled, so no new revelation there.

Totally forgot about the postcard! I just checked and it's... yeah, also Hard Boiled. Was hoping I could announce to the world that Arrow were releasing The Devils.

I can’t believe they did, now this after Zombie Flesh Eaters.

I’m no longer going to buy an arte original edition again if it’s slip only. It’s a lot of stress as opposed to ordering thru a boutique guaranteeing a mint copy, when Arrows might arrive damaged and then they go cheap by only putting the art on the slip.

I feel like many even had exclusive disc art too if I’m recalling correct. Though I could live with same disc art but the chipboard cases should have the original art.

Who really wants any of the newly commissioned art on any release. It’s almost like a punishment.

The postcard in mine is Three…Extremes, I have no idea what that is?

At least the artwork is reversible on the disc case I suppose, but perversely they sent it out with the shirt design showing.

I'll make note of the exclusive being a slipcover in the first post. This one is more annoying than Zombie to me because it already got a rigid case with the OG art for the US. So a clear downgrade and sign of them cheaping out for the UK release.

The picture clearly shows a rigid hard box design for the UK Art Original edition, Arrow can’t even claim that the US edition was mistakenly used in promotional ads as it features the BBFC ratings logo.

Feels cheap in the hand. They’ve pulled a fast one here.

I just received mine and had that same unpleasant surprise. The original artwork is only on the flimsy outer slip. Take that off and the box itself does not have the advertised artwork on it, but the rather hideous new art.

The picture on Arrow's web shop clearly shows a box with the original art into which the UHD can be inserted from the side. This is not what you actually get. I have to say, I feel kind of deceived by Arrow now.
