Master and Commander & No Country for Old Men - Blu-ray Forum

I want to preorder both of these movies but there is no listing on Amazon.com. Anyone know why. I plan on getting both when they come out. As for now my next purchase will actually be Master and Crimson Tide on Feb.5th

Maybe amazon.com has got no conf. from the studio about the shipping date.

Yeah I guess we will have to be patient. But Master comes out in 3 weeks. It doesn't make sense to me that they would not be taking preorders. Oh well hopefully we can preorder predator soon.

DVDEmpire is now showing Master and Commander as a Pre-Announce title... I am wondering if this got pushed back again because it also wasn't featured in Fox's recent press release...

Well I hope they let us know because I am planning on getting Master the day it comes out. Anyway Commando and predator are bigger releases in my book.

The disc is done, it's been done since about a week after the previous delay when they fixed the bug

I sent out some emails. I can confirm it's not on Fox's retailer site

No Country - Damn, what an amazing film. This will no doubt have people going crazy (in both good and bad ways!) but i loved this film.

'No Country for Old Men' was up for preorder on amazon.com, but lasted less than 24 hours and went away. I hope its still a-go for March 11, 2008!

Master and Commander has been delayed long enough in my opinion. Anyway, hopefully Fox sticks to the release date. These movies are both amazing.

Here's the problem

The oscars may be in jeopardy due to the strike

Any release is going to be close enough to oscars so they can ride any awards it wins

I think they would have announced an delay at this point what with 3 weeks to go.

Cannot remember if I commented. But I just don't get why Fox cannot seem to get this one out the door.

That's the foreign release, that one is already out! Region coding for Fox makes importation impossible.
