I know the US forums have a thread listing contact details. We…do not.
Anyway I ordered the Transformers 6-movie 4K set from an eBay seller. Sealed. Turns up with an alarming looking scratch in the centre of Revenge of the Fallen (I believe this is one of the most important parts?), and odd marks on Bumblebee. I asked the seller like “hey do you have your original receipts could you ask for a replacement?”. No, but they’ll accept a return request. But I’d rather save all that if its possible to get to Paramount directly and ask. I attached a photo in case I’m completely wrong about where scratches matter most, but the primary purpose of this thread is to get contact details if possible. |

Just return it to the seller and move on with your life. Paramount is unlikely to involve themselves in replacing questionable discs you bought off eBay.
Did you try actually playing the movies first? There might not even be any real damage. Last edited by benricci; 08-20-2025 at 10:23 PM. |

But given how many people complain of unreliable 4Ks and what-not, seems foolish to start out with one pre-damaged |

Pretty much only The ones with Grey Market players complain about 'unreliable 4Ks'. All my UHDs have played correctly with my authorized dealer sold player.

Sometimes y'all are far too paranoid and anxious for your own good. Life's too short to be so worried all the time about potential future issues that may never actually come to fruition. Again, if the disc is *actually* damaged just return it and move on with your life. There's aren't rare items, you can replace it with another copy as soon as today, if you fancy. |

Full marks to Jacky for acting honestly though. I know a couple of sneaky types who would have ordered a new set from Amazon, pretended it arrived damaged, and returned the old one.
And I know Amazon is an awful company that treats its staff poorly, but that would still be dishonest. |

@Jacky - that minor scratch looks nowhere near the data area and as confirmed by you, should not affect playback ever. |

Oh really? I thought the centre stuff was important? Cause you can see an extra ring when its a triple-layer disc for example |

Basically, from a few millimetres from the outer edge to just before the layer ID code rings is data. Of course cracks to the inner ring can be a concern, but scratches should be fine. You might even be able to repair a crack.
