Default How many Blu-ray reissues have there been?

Hi everyone, I haven't been here in a while and I was wondering if there have been any new blu-ray re-issues. Got my new copies of Star Gate and Fifth Element since they reissued those, but have there been ANY other movies that were re-released or otherwise improved upon? Thanks.

The only reissues I am aware of are The Fifth Element (Remastered) and Superman Returns with losless audio.
The Lionsgate movies were only a price cut.

WB had problems with Harry Potter... put some HD DVDs in the Blu-ray cases... don't know if that counts tho as the BDs were fine, just in the wrong box.

Was this the "Subtitles" issue? Do you have a link for a replacement? Thanks!

Yes, for the subtitle issue. I'll try to find a link. Truth is, I got an address from a different forum. I couldn't get a hold of anyone at Lionsgate phone number, so I just sent in the movie with my return address (before I even talked to anyone). They sent me a new copy.

I found the link in that other forum, thanks! Looks like everyone got their replacements OK. Here's hoping it still works.

The Prestige had a chemical impurity that resulted in spotting on the discs, making them unplayable. They recalled those discs and replaced them.

edit:
Full Metal Jacket

When did the Superman Returns disc get rereleased? Would the ones from Amazon be the new ones? Or old ones?

I believe the re-issue one was only put in boxes of a certain BR player.

The Superman disc was packed in the the Pioneer BD-P94. Word on the street is that when the current stock of DD discs are depleted, the new PCM/THD version will take it's place. So far, nobody's found one that i know of.

I think Full Metal Jacket has been released on blu twice. Better PQ on the rerelease.

Edit: Kristin beat me to it and I missed it.

And I suspect holiday marketing is not the ONLY reason "A Christmas Story" is being reissued next year...

No lie, I just got off the phone with sony for my replacement fifth element and now am just finding out I have to do my pirates and stargate. Is there anything else?

There should be like a sticky with a list of all the movies that have had replacement programs and the information on how to go about returning them.
