Wow, I had no idea this one got released on Blu-ray. I know there was an HD-DVD release.
I've gone through and checked Optimum Releases and it seems like it could be 99.999% locked. Last edited by OrlandoEastwood; 11-06-2009 at 12:59 PM. |

Yea, the only reason I found out was cause Optimum will be releasing part 2 in the near future and it was on the front page... I loved this movie, so it would be cool to have it on blu!

Yeah. Optimum has had a record of delivering so-so quality releases, judged from some of the professional reviewers on the site. They have released some good titles. Like Luc Besson's films. If Angel-A was Region All, I would have gotten my hands all over it.

Hi, I have Feast (Optimumn Blu-Ray) Which is unfortunatly the R-Rated cut of the film (which is strange as the optimum dvd is uncut) the scene where they use the biker chick as bait to lure the little monsters is shorter by a few seconds, those who've seen the unrated cut will know what is missing

Sorry to pull up an old thread, but it's better than creating a whole new thread entirely I guess.
I just wanted to know if the UK version has a DTS-HD MA track or a Dolby TrueHD track like the US Blu-Ray. I seem to almost always have issues with Dolby TrueHD tracks, I don't know why, so I'd like to know if there is a DTS-HD MA version out there somewhere with a more aggressive mix. Also, same question for Feast II: Sloppy Seconds. And how's the picture quality on the second one? I haven't heard anybody speak of how the second one looks and sounds. Some comments would be very much appreciated. |

How is the DTS-HD MA track? I don't care about extras, so it being barebones isn't much of an issue. Does it at least have a menu? I would like to hear a review on the DTS-HD MA track if you have the disc personally. I find the Dolby TrueHD track to sound weak. |

Bumping an old thread, but can anyone tell me if Feast has an un-rated release on Blu-ray anywhere?
The old HD-DVD was un-rated I believe and had some decent extras too, so a Blu release matching that would be great. AFAIK the US & UK Blu-rays are both the R rated cut. |

Not according to DVD Compare/Rewind, which states the following...
"The cover states that this is the Unrated version but it is actually the R-Rated version. See Movie Censorship for details of the differences" |

The unrated version is just a few seconds longer.
