Um...yes? Multiple times?

What would the point be of buying them if I wouldn't ever watch them again? Might as well rent them if that were the case.

The other benefit of owning them...is I can, like a miser, stroke the cases, fondle them and giggle that they're all mine!

I have around 350 blus and over 1500 dvds.. so, no, I don't rewatch everything. But I have seen most of my movies at least twice. Usually I sell the blind buys that suck, lol.

I agree with the other posters....why would you possibly waste money on a blu or dvd that you won't watch again??? Baffles me.

With the exception of some TV series on DVD, I've seen every movie I own on VHS, Laserdisc, DVD or BD at least on average 5 times each.

Some more than others, but yes, I rewatch films often. I rarely blind buy, so I've seen every title in my collection at least a couple of times.

I rewatch all of mine. Some more than others, but they all get watched and rewatched sooner or later.

I actually buy a lot of DVDs and Blu-Rays and I would have to say that 55% of them, I haven't open them or even watch them. This whole DVD and Blu-Ray purchasing is a complete obession for me and I've wasted a lot of money! BUT I love collecting each and every single one of them. The reason why I buy so much and haven't opened them yet? I'm waiting for the day that I can retire and watch them all then.

Yes I know, I'm pathetic but hey... everybody has a vice!

I have already watched most of my movies more than once but I have been buying a bit quickly lately with no time to watch them all. I don't buy a movie unless it is something I know I will want to watch multiple time. I have made two or three mistakes in the past, bad blind buys but mostly yeah; I buy movies I like and I like to watch movies I like.

I rewatch all of my movies at some point. I really don't watch any television at all except for movies. If I buy a movie and I don't care for it to watch it again then I quickly sell it on ebay.

What a very odd thread. Wouldn't it be obvious? I can't imagine someone would buy a movie KNOWING that they won't watch it more than once. I have every intention of watching a movie multiple times when making a purchase but I have been burned a few times w/ blind buying (I'm looking at you 10,000 BC ) and those movies I have either traded in or sold to a friend for like $5.

Now on the other hand, no I have not rewatched every movie I own but I certainly will be. And yes I do watch some more often than others like Friday the 13th Remake have watched 4x since June but The Simpsons Movie I have not watched since buying it the first day it came out ( i actually kinda want to watch it now).

People collect all kinds of things that they don't functionally use at all, let alone multiple times. Most stamp collections are filled with stamps that have never been used to send a letter and never will be.

I collect DVDs and BDs, many of which I'll end up watching multiple times. Being able to watch them multiple times isn't necessarily the reason I collect them though.

That's a good question. I haven't rewatched any of my Bluray movies yet. Of course, I bought my player only a couple of months ago and have about 10 or so in my collection thus far.
