I'd be wary of 101 sourcing it from Krekel & chums.
The German release is the usual DigiDreams DNR'd crap: https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&...2=8972&i=1&l=0 |

I'm seeing Universal's logo on 101's spine, which means we're in good hands and will be the same transfer as the US BD. The Quest was produced by Imperial Entertainment, but Universal distributed it in the US & most international places and appears still holds those rights unlike the Lionheart situation.
It was however, distributed by local distributors in Germany and France, then reverted back to Imperial/Moonstone. Imperial farms out film restoration and mastering of their catalog titles to Oliver Krekel's company, which explains why the Digidreams release (using the Universal master with it's own processing bugs) looks even more overprocessed and waxy. It also explains how most of the Imperial titles with HD masters look like smeary dumpster fires no matter what label releases them because of Krekels work. |

Just picked it up in HMV, for a tenner.
![]() ![]() ![]() Thankfully, the cover is wrong regarding the audio. Yes, it defaults to PCM 2.0, but the second audio track is DTS-HD-MA 5.1. AVC encoded on BD-50. While it's clearly an old master, it's not the Krekel DNR version. Extras: ![]() The Jack McGee interview is 26 mins 35 secs long. The Mike Lambert interview is 15 mins 59 secs long. The Gallery is a collection of on and off set photos from Jack McGee's photobooks, and runs 3mins 52secs. The trailer is also in HD and runs 1 min 58 secs.
