I got a package in the mail today from Blu-Ray Training Prizes for completing the training courses found at bluraytraining.com I received a movie, blu-ray pin and blu-ray pocket guide

About how long did it take for you guys from certification to disc in your mailbox?

I got the reference card from Zellers. Nice to see they are trying to inform people of what the deal is.

I finally received mine yesterday. It took almost two months, but the important thing is that it's here.

prob. not getting mine. since i couldnt put my full postal code in the form. it was designed for the zip code only.

Do you have to be a retail employee to be blu-ray certified or is it for anybody? And what benefit do you have if you are blu-ray certified?

lol, j/k. Seriously, do u have to work for a retail store? and how long did it take for u 2 get the movie? I did mine already, but nothing yet. It's been about 2-3 weeks.

Cris got his last month and proudly wears the pin now to work. On a side note BB has informed they're home theater personnel to be very truthful to customers that ask about the format war. That although 2 studios still support hd dvd the fact is the Blu-Ray seems like the winner in this format war.

I think they need to start issuing newer versions of those cards. There seems to be a studio in the middle of that Venn diagram.

Well, I took the test on 11-16-07 and just received the package yesterday. So, it was 5 days short of 2 months. Although, I'm sure the holiday season had something to do with it taking so long.

BTW, I do work for Best Buy (not in one of their stores though), but I've heard of many people on this forum getting the package even though they don't work for any retail stores, so I don't think that the certification site checks out whether you do or not.

Took me about 5 weeks or so to get it. I'm wearing my pin to work right now!
