But as far as being an awesome Predator, I think Wolf from AVPR wins. Easily the best part of AVPR.

definitely Predator 2. sure its not anywhere near as good as the original but it gets unfairly dumped on i think. on its own its a great scifi/horror/action flick.
love Predators as well, its very close.
the vs movies, the less said about them the better.

Predator 2 is alright, definitely not as bad as people say, I agree. I'd pick Predators over it, though. I was surprised with how enjoyable that one was. AVP 1 had really good production design, but was let down by pretty much all the other elements. AvP2 was trash. An offensive piece of crap trash machine with no sense of humour and terrible direction. Ugh.

You serious? You haven't seen Predator 2? It goes from jungle to Concrete Jungle on Predator 2, and it's one of the better movies from the Predator franchise! Between Predator and Predator 2, I have no favorites: they're in their own standard, and I firmly believe Hopkins (Predator 2) did just as good a job as Tiernan did for the first one! AVP I like a little bit, but the look they made on the Predators were just gawd-awful! AVP Requiem looks bad-ass, but the way they did the directon and the production was just gawd-awful! Fox should have truly started the AVP franchise based off the first comics between the two...
I did enjoy Predators a lot! Nimrod did a good job of the direction of the movie!

i was really into the "Concrete Jungle" comic series Dark Horse had at the time and Predator 2 always reminded me of that in a good way.
if they ever wanted to reboot the franchise that would be the way to go but make it Dutch's son instead of brother. im surprised it hasnt been done already.

AVP: Requiem is bad, but it's not THAT bad...it had its moments and eye candy (Predator home world), but certainly not good in most other levels...but that is your opinion and I respect that

I thought the first AVP was far worse than the second. At least the second one had Rickety Cricket.

Neither is a worthy film, but the first Alien vs. Predator, in my opinion, is much more proficient. It has potent atmosphere and very neat production design and a couple exciting action moments, even if they are neutered for a PG-13 rating.

The sequel is just...ugh. Badly lit. Boring. Incomprehensible.
