My main use case, is to find the 4k Blu-Rays I don't own. But before I get ahead of myself, I wanted to check if something already exists, if not; is this something someone would find beneficial?
I tinkered with writing one today. It scrapes the titles you own from blu-ray.com (or a text file) and compares that to a master list of available titles. Via various apis, databases, and filtering it by media type, format, etc... |

Click into your collection page.
Go to the "Upgrade to" link. Click on the format you're interested in upgrading to. Voila. Same friggin' thing. (And if you're region free, just change the American Flag in the search field at the top of the page to the globe. Clicking the "Upgrade to" link will show you all of the various editions of blu's and 4K's you can buy anywhere in the world.) |
