The Life is Strange developer is due to showcase the game alongside other major titles under the Focus Home umbrella, such as Farming Simulator 2017, The Technomancer, The Surge and Styx: Shards of Darkness. Prior to the release of Life is Strange, Dontnod also worked on the action-adventure title Remember Me. Vampyr brings gothic, blood-sucking adventure to PS4 next year ![]() This story-driven Action-RPG is developed by Dontnod, the creators of Life is Strange. Investigate the mystery of the Spanish Flu in 1918 London as a doctor and newly awakened vampire, forced to choose which citizens you must feed on to survive and improve your vampiric powers and combat skills. TBH, while it sounds interesting, and I fathom it can make for compelling gameplay, I also find it an awkward concept, at least in the context they seem to be placing it. A physician facing the ethical dilemma of whose blood to suck. It's not much of a dilemma. The end of TLoU I found absurd, so this rather takes the cake.

I just hope the promise of a "Dynamic" system of affecting the local population isn't just a superficial mechanic without any real impact. I hope it genuinely changes the story. Life is Strange for example did have some choice that appeared to matter but felt ultimately in the end, it didn't massively affect the ending. Hopefully here it's much more impactful making such choices.
