In need of more help than the law can provide, the town's citizens turn to mark taffin (pierce brosnan), a debt collector and martial-arts expert who's accustomed to getting his way. As taffin battles against corporate goons and hired thugs, it's clear he's a force to be reckoned with. But is one man enough to win the battle?

The 2K restoration of the film has been popping up on MGMHD network for a few years now, and is also available to watch on Tubi in Canada as well.

What other MGM films have been showing up on streaming platforms that haven't had physical media releases? Someone should make a list. Could be a good indicator of what we can expect. As for TAFFIN, I've never heard of it but after looking at a trailer, I'm all in. Looks right up my alley. Anything having to do with evil developers going into a neighborhood and wreaking havoc then getting their comeuppance is gold to me

Hilarious how the trailer voice over man exclaims 'Pierce Brosnan is Taffin' like this totally means something. Like Taffin is up there with James Bond and Indiana Jones.

He was doing Remington Steele at the time, which was sort of a hit, but, yeah, I agree.

Yeah, usually trailers undersell the movie and characters

Probably they meant it the other way around. You see Brosnan in the trailer beating up and shooting people, and by saying that he's the Taffin referred to in the title, they're saying , "This whole movie is about this guy who's beating up and shooting people."

Never bought into PB as a 'tough guy'. He passed the JB test perhaps due to the looks and height dept. He's too self-conscious and the dialogue delivery is never natural, like he's making an attempt to nail that tone

Never heard of it, but I'm also mostly unfamiliar with Brosnan's earlier career before he was Stu in Mrs. Doubtfire and of course Bond. Also haven't seen Remington Steele. Looks like fun.

Just received one from Amazon. No slip cover. Did it ever have one? At least it comes in a good quality Elite brand case with no cut-out holes.

Kino titles rarely have slips.
