Default Best HDTV Cleaning System

Just thought I would put this out to our group of experts out there as to what everyone's preferences were on cleaning "systems" for their TV's. As my sig denotes I've got a Pioneer Plasma display and the "cloth" that came with it is.......shall we say....anemic at best. I've got a larger one that I got for my former TV which is something that was put out by Monster some time ago. Just curious as to what other folks are using........

FYI, Be careful with what you use. I have the same plasma and the reason why you are supposed to use that one is the coating on the glass. Using other cloths could take off some of the coating and make things worse.

Yes, I read that in the manual too. Problem is that cloth that comes with the set is to small. I'm trying to find a replacement that's larger or something else that's comparable.

I find the most natural method of keeping plasmas and LCDs clean - is the tounge. Yeah, I said it. Just get that thing moist - and start lickin! Works wonders!

Seriously - use this product - http://www.klearscreen.com/ I trust my screens to NOBODY else! Period. Been using them for years. Laptops, Desktop LCDs, Plasmas - anything with a screen that needs cleaning, care!

I use Monster cloth and liquid...sold at BestBuy...I have been using it on my Plasma and LCD (laptop, PS3...etc) for 18+ months...as far as I can tell, no issues...

The cloth is large...I use the damp side and wipe off access with dry side...

Decided to give this a try. Seems like it's the only cleaning system that is even listed on CNET (Klearscreen NOT the tongue method) . Thanks to everyone who listed their opinions!

This seems like it would be great for dusting components but the screen????? That's a little bit scarey to me.

Monster power center is a must!!!

I also recommend HDMI cables...they do make a difference...especially in when there is a lot of action...

Also, Monster cleaning system is great...buy two...use one of the microfibers for the screen only (keep it in a ziplock bag...away from spouse and children) and keep the other microfiber for dusting top, bottom, back and sides of the HDTV...must do this at least once a week...

A screen cleaner made locally is "KLEEN SCREEN, Alchol & Amonia free".
It comes with a large cloth, but it's best to use a well-worn piece of 100% cotton flannel or a microfibre towel.

As for the Monster Power Center, I got a factory refurbished 1600 Power Center for $200 (list $300) from the Monster Cable factory store, no tax, free shipping. Fits in the rack nicely and has all the connections you will need.

It's the softest, least abrasive duster I've ever seen...
