Reacher Season Two 4K UHD - Blu-ray Forum

Good news, Paramount will be continuing to release the show Reacher on 4K, with Season Two coming September 17th. Like the First Season, this will be released through MOD distribution.

Surprised a show like this is apparently profitable enough to produce and sell 4k discs for... Just goes to show you there is a lot more that goes into whether something gets the 4k treatment or not that we don't factor in

With the exception of the they-don't-have-the-budget-for-this-finale-setpiece, this season was so much better than the first.

Season 1 was much better, yes, but I will buy Season 2 as well, because even if it's not as good as S1, they don't make much with this style any more. And I still loved S2!

Not cancelled, it's an MOD (made on demand) title, Paramount or Allied Vaughn need to repress another batch.

I finally got my copy in. It has Dolby Vision and DTS-HD MA 5.1, plus audio description (DD 2.0) and English and English SDH subtitles only. There are no extras and even though each disc has four episodes, only the first disc (with 187 minutes of content) is a 100 GB disc, while the second disc, (with 164 minutes of content), is a 66 GB disc, I briefly checked the first episode and the image looks good but can seem noisy at times. I wonder if the series employs digital grain and the encode is struggling to resolve it properly. Otherwise, I didn't spot any issues, but I'm not the best at that and only watched a portion of the first disc. The bitrate seemed to be mostly in the 30-40s, occasionally reaching the 50-60s, so I wonder how filled the 100 GB disc actually is.
