Moderator note: This was released on 3D Blu-ray in Poland, France and Germany. The Polish edition is the only one that includes English subtitles. The German edition doesn't play properly so should be avoided (see post #20 below). There is also a Polish 2D-only release so make sure you get the right one.

Not a new 3D title but I totally LOVED IT!
Impressed with the overall production quality, period sets and costumes, and plenty of smart use of 3D depth effects!

Very good 3D in this one. The best edition to get is the Polish one, which is region free and includes English subtitles.

I am happy to report the 3D is solid and does not have the same issue as the German release. I have not watched all of it yet just chapter skipped around to confirm no issues with the 3D. It is region B per the case and does NOT have English subtitles. So only order if you can work around that.

I recevied it in only 1 week from seller cdcash - hope it is OK to plug them as the price was fair and the shipping very fast considering. Hopefully the movie will be good - native 3D so I am happy about that.

My mother was born in Warsaw so I managed to grab a copy to watch with her. To be honest I didn't think it was very good. The 3D was very strong mind you, it was more the acting and story that put me off.

The Polish 3D date / horror film was a better experience for me (the name is eluding me), but to each their own.

The performances were as good as anything we see today on Netflix Originals. Nothing award-winning but not terrible either.
I enjoyed how they recreated the political atmosphere of the time and she was just gorgeous in her cabaret scenes!

Would be a wonderful addition to anybody's 3D collection. Of course I'm talking about the Polish edition with English subtitles. Great 3D and a powerful story.

I would still probably recommend it for the 3D, and I wouldn't be surprised if many enjoy it as I don't pretend to think my tastes are universal. The Netflix comparison is fair, and while I didn't take to it I can't say it was terrible or anything, it just wasn't for me.

So there are big 3D errors the whole movie? What happens? A general problem on every hardware?

Recently picked up "1920 Die Letzte Schlacht 3D" - 1920 Battle of warsaw. It is native 3D and the first few chapters looked great. Unfortunately there seems to be an issue with the mastering on the disk perhaps. The left and right eye frames get out of synch around chapter 3. For a while the right eye is ahead then later it is behind. When I pause the picture and close one eye I can see the location of horses legs and altering which eye I look with there is a big difference in position. This is also true when panning - altering which eye I look with shows the temporal difference between eyes. This is a German bluray with the title in quotes above. I would avoid this German version because of this issue.
