There's no reason that this shouldn't be getting a 4k release, but I can't see any evidence that there will be one. The blu-ray has been announced.

No. And I was among those really hoping for a UHD release as well. HBO also ignored Chernobyl, which was finished in 4K and was even aired that way on the other side of the Atlantic.

At this point, I wouldn't even be surprised if the next season of Westworld wound up skipping past UHD BD, unless that were something the producers were insistent upon.
