Default Underground (by John Boorman)

Quote:
Film Bridge International, an indie entertainment company set up by producer Ellen Wander (Spinning Man), has inked a two-picture production deal with Irish-based Merlin Film, headed by Kieran Corrigan and veteran film director John Boorman (Deliverance, Excalibur).

Wander, Corrigan, and Boorman will partner on the heist film Underground, which Boorman will direct from a script he co-wrote with Ted Campbell.

Set in Boston, Underground follows an Irish mob family struggling to get out of the business who is tempted by one last job when they discover an abandoned tunnel beneath jewelry store Tiffany & Co.

Boorman received best directing Oscar nominations for Deliverance in 1972 and for 1987's Hope and Glory. His most recent picture, Queen & Country, premiered at Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes in 2014. [SOURCE]
