MURDER AT 1600 - Wesley Snipes and Diane Lane...

Any idea if this will come to bluray? It was pretty successful at the time (1996) but obviously Snipes has fallen out of favour since then. Lane's star has risen though. Any chance do you think?

Always thought this was a solid little suspense-thriller with a great cast. I'd buy it.

I was hoping they would release this film around the time Passenger 57 came out on BD. They're both WB titles, right? Made perfect sense.

Yeah they are both WB Titles. I don't think I have seen this. Wood like to check this out as I like Diane Lane.

I think 'MURDER AT 1600' is a New Regency film - so may now be with Fox?

I remember that me and my dad went to go and see this one at the movies and from what i remember it was a pretty good thriller wouldn't mind an upgrade to BD sometime down the road.

It sucks Vudu is so expensive..$14 for a digital file of this. Absurd. At least if they aren't going to release a Blu of this they could offer it for a decent price digitally

It's kind of ironic that both New Regency and Morgan Creek left WB, but it has led to less titles being available on Blu-ray.

Watched this the other day and wondered if this ever did get a Blu-ray release. Nope. Hopefully a company like Shout Factory picks this up.

Good call on Shout picking it up - it is a Warner title after all. Even the DVD is pricey now. I'd get this on blu.

I always liked this movie. Outside of the Blade franchise, I feel like this one, and maybe US Marshals, were the last big budget, heavily advertised, let's get everyone to see it, Wesley Snipes starring movies. If that makes sense! haha. (could be wrong! Feel free to let me know!)

I know he was allegedly "blacklisted" and if you look at the amount of films he's made in the last 20 years, it sort of shows. However, I'm hoping his new movie with Eddie Murphy about Rudy Ray Moore helps correct the situation. Snipes is awesome and had a well deserved career IMO.

Anyway, I'd totally pick this up if, or when, it sees the light of Blu.

It was a Warner title. Since it is a Regency production Warner no longer handles this title.

I would love to watch this movie from start to finish. It has a great cast, including the highly underrated Ronny Cox from Deliverance, Beverly Hills Cop, its first sequel, RoboCop and Total Recall.

And Murder At 1600 has a story line that seems very appealing. That is on the plot description on Wikipedia, where the users lifted the plot description from the Internet Movie Database last I checked.

Since there is an entry for this movie on Bluray.com, doesn't that mean there is a blu ray release planned? Let's hope so. Wesley Snipes is a fine actor, and this film is one of his better appearances, and ranks right up there with the likes of US Marshall's, Passenger 57, and New Jack City. Even Brooklyn's Finest wasn't exactly a terrible entry.

An entry means nothing. This was entered in the database by user Spitfrnd in 2013 who followed it up with the movie poster artwork in 2014. Anybody, you included, can enter a film title without a pending release. Regard them as place holders.
