I remember this getting released by Entertainment In Video years ago, very tempted by this but would want all the sequels released too, there were quite a few but I never got round to watch any of them.

I'm sure it'll drop down to £10 or less, like all of the other 88 Films pre-orders have.

I've never seen the film, but, seriously, what's with all these announcements then huge release date push backs???? It's becoming all too frequent now. almost EVERY title that's been announced since Arrow's Big Trouble In Little China has been pushed. And not by days or weeks, but by month. I mean wtf???

Damn, I hope the delay is for the sequels to be released on the same day.

Perhaps the delay concerns unanticipated further work on the original, as the picture quality of the Full Moon release is definitely nothing to brag about. The image is serviceable, at best, and unsteady. It looks like a good DVD from early in that era. Derived from the original negative? You’d never know it from the result.

At least it’s not overprocessed, whoopty doo.

Some have assumed that the 88 Films release of this movie will feature authoring superior to that of the Full Moon version. That now seems like a pretty safe assumption, and certainly to be hoped for.

I read somewhere that Full Moon realized that people in the US were buying the 88 Films versions instead of the Full Moon version, and put a clause in the contract stating the 88 versions would be released 6 months later than the US versions.

Full Moon already has Trancers and Doctor Mordred Blu's available in their Amazon page, and 88 has no new listings for Full Moon catalog titles, so maybe it's true.

...Rather than be embarrassed by their own shoddy work and vowing to do better themselves.

I hear that 88 Films discs are usually better than Full Moon's in terms of authoring, but I have to say I actually thought the transfer on Trancers was really pretty good for a 30 year old film that was made on a low budget.
