Watched it today. It sorta feels like 16mm meets Independence Day. Not as great but worth a watch. I think it would have been better if they kept it more serious.

This was a really tough movie for me to sit through. Aliens invading a summer camp should have been a sure thing, but that's just the first 20 minutes. And even that part of the film is terrible.

Avoid this movie like the plague and watch The Perfection on NetFlix instead. The Perfection is outstanding!

The opening of the film is almost exactly identical to the opening in Rampage.

A lot of the jokes are either awkward or REALLY, REALLY BAD and it has some really poor CGI.

Also, it plays like a kids movie, but one of the kids is talking about space dicks and ****. He also talks about having three ways and shoving it in a female counselor's box. So I have no idea who this movie was made for. Too raunchy for kids, too stupid for adults.

McG's last film Babysitter was actually pretty solid, it was actually funny. Probably because it was originally going to be theatrically released before Netflix bought it from Warner/New Line. That knew what it was and ran with it.

as HorrorBlu states, it doesn't know what it wants to be. Its like a PG-13 that was made R during very last minute reshoots.

I really enjoyed Babysitter from McG was a bit of a suprise overall so i might end up actually liking this one too believe it's like Stranger Things, Goonies etc.
