I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. The action/monster encounters are spaced out well enough that the movie rarely drags and the CGI is fairly good with only a few scenes near the end noticeably sub-par quality. It's not perfect and the main character's whininess might grate on some viewers but it's definitely worth a look.

I got the BD for $9.96 at Amazon -- I think was a temporary price mistake -- and the digital copy redeems in 4K Dolby Vision!

STACKED. I went to Walmart, Best Buy and Target on Tuesday night and not one place had any copies of this. It was like it hasn’t even been put out yet. Going to try again next week. Could just order on Amazon but I prefer to look in person for the most mint slip I can find.
