Never liked the look of this after seeing the posters slapped on the side of a bus. But after I settled I enjoyed it and will buy this.

Reminded me of Babel a little which I did not like but I could relate better with some of these characters.

Ultraviolet™ Digital Copy®. Wow. Amazing. I just came in my pants.

All the money @£10 unless they cough up some special packaging.

That looks massive on my 2560x1440 monitor so it must be enormous for people using fondleslabs

I went with the US 2 disc as I picked it up dirt cheap. Price fell very quickly.

Not something I'll watch often but I'm looking forward to another look. Pity the extras are so sparse.

I watched this tonight - thought it was pretty good. Don't think I'd pay full price for it though, so may pick it up on the cheap at a later date.

I noticed people bidding madly on a copy the other day and then heard in my local HMV they sold out of it suddenly sometime this week. Hilarious how a film people were willing to forget about on release - it wasn't even showing near me, but a few months later his next film Haywire was, so I caught up on DVD - is now suddenly the film everyone's talking about. I swear it was showing up in Poundland stores over the past few years as well! My older sister described it as 'one of the most boring films I've ever seen', but then again her filmic diet mainly consists of superheroes and Star Wars these days.

Anyway, hope this draws more attention to Soderbergh and Burns - together they are two of the best voices in contemporary American cinema. Would love to see them do a sequel of sorts starring...Tom Hanks, maybe?

PS: I'd also recommend Side Effects if people are after a double-bill.

If you can live with the DVD there are copies galore in most Poundland stores, or were last time I looked.

Warner Bros (or someone taking on the rights from them) should take a punt on a re-release.

Alternatively, German release by WB.

It's out of stock in UK and Germany (amazon.de and co.uk)

But it seems like the US will get a re-package(?). Amazon.com lists it as "In stock on March 18, 2020."
Contagion (Rpkg/BD) [Blu-ray] $15.

I'll wait for it to get a UHD release.

For those who are also a fan of the Cliff Martinez score, do check out the filmfest Ghent rerecording:

I love this movie and score.
