Grand Hotel (ABC)

I figured this would be bad, but I checked it out because Denyse Tontz.

Turns out, it's great It's perfect, cheesy, melodramatic guilty pleasure. The performances are far from cheesy, but the situations the characters find themselves in are, of course. Only a few characters out of a pretty big cast seem to be completely stereotypical. There are enough "full" characters to carry the show, in my opinion. I've never seen the "hero" character before, but he seems pretty cool.

The show reminds me a lot of what I've seen of Jane the Virgin, but without the comedy angle. I can't wait too see more of the delicious drama

Too bad Christa B. Allen and Arielle Kebbel seem to be in only the first episode, but having those two hotties added to the rest of the cast would've been an embarrassment of riches, I guess.
