HDMI cables

I am curious what people are using for HDMI cables, HDMI is HDMI, however different cables have different bandwidth, anyone notice any differnce between cables. Thanks for the input.

Got my 6' v1.3 HDMI cables from monoprice for 6 bucks each. I already had a 70 dollar monster HDMI hooked up to my PS3 but got a 3 input reciever, and swaped out the monster for the monoprice to see if I could see a difference. Honestly it looked exactly the same. I think paying for expensive HDMI cables is a waste.

Monoprice is awsome I highly recommend their cables. Also bluejeancable is another good spot.

Thanks for the input tigcat77, glad I paid $60 dollars for the HDMI cables on e-bay instead of $230 in store. I am Canadian and I get ripped off.

the audio bandwidth for HDMI 1.0 to 1.3b has not changed at all. the video bandwidth for HDMI 1.0 to 1.3b has doubled. however, there are no commercially available media with 48-bit 1600p video with Deep Colour support. as such, that extra bandwidth in supposedly 1.3 certified cables is not used.

Length is the biggest issue with HDMI and bandwidth. So for all you projector people...make sure the sweep test show bandwidth capability at the length you need. Most of the HDMI I pull for projetors is over 12m and many at the 15m lenght. Bandwidth for future technology becomes very important then.
