Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright

The artwork on these, inside and out, is gorgeous!
Sigh, I'm not 4K yet and have the Ross Steels.

If (when?) they drop in price, I may purchase for the art.

Yeah this looks great. Still have my doubts how much of a difference we’ll see in 4K but I’m likely in for all of these.

a new 4k transfer of a 1940's film from good elements vs. an older transfer with digital anomalies? It should be a good improvement, probably more so than the other older titles.
This one and Frankenstein are the two Im most looking forward to but I'm all in on all 4

What is the 4th one??? There will be 8 in the box set. So I’m wondering if the other 5 will get a SteelBook version.

This year marks the anniversaries of all 3 - 90 years for Dracula & Frankenstein. 80 years for The Wolf Man. Hopefully they will release all in 4K this year!! Fingers crossed!!!

Nope. I'm glad these are coming in 4K, and the Steels look good. But I have the 30-film complete collection. When that gets replicated in 4K, I am in. I am done buying single titles, smaller collections, or any other incremental improvement until the whole shebang is done, multiple copies of Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein included.

Why do you have a need to post this exact statement in every single thread related to the Universal Monster steel books? Just curious...

Isn't the Invisible Man also coming to Steelbook as well? Don't see it on BestBuy site yet. Just the 3 so far.

I wish the 2010 Wolfman remake was coming out in a 4K Steelbook, maybe by next Halloween hopefully.

Nice upgrade, since the BR was waxy, terrible wax look:

http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film10/blu-...man_4K_UHD.htm

Even looking both in full screen in a 1080p monitor, the 4K edition loks way better, more realistic and organic compared to the waxy BR.

Look the old gypsy lady.
