Default Just saw the Blu-ray factory

So I live in Spokane, WA (still homegrown L.A. Boy ) and I was driving to dinner with my wife and passed a big building and it had a huge neon sign that said "Blu Ray". I knew that Spokane had one of the biggest manufacturing plants of Blu Ray discs in the country but had never seen it up close and personal. The wife said "you should get a job there so we can get discounts on blu". Ehh, just a nice story that I thought I would share with all of my Blu relatives

Blue Ray Technologies Goes Gold as First U.S. Indie Blu-ray Plant Opens

Quote:
Blue Ray Technologies opens $12 million plant in Spokane, making it the first independent U.S. Blu-ray manufacturer. Plant is important to TV producers and indie filmmakers who can't wait in line for high definition discs at plants controlled by major studios busy filling their own pipelines. Distribution offered too by Edge of Light Media, a co-venture with John Daly ("Terminator," "Platoon"). GE supplies materials for eco-friendly operation.
I guess you pron fans have Spokane and Blue Ray Technologies to thank for the Blu discs.

You should ask them if Universal and Paramount have been around on "fact-finding" tours (or contract negotiations).

Is Spokane close to Portland? Gosh, I feel like I know that place. I wouldn't mind stopping there when I'm home and asking for a tour (calling in beforehand of course). Maybe I could apply for a summer job?

Better yet, put on your suit, walk in the door tomorrow, and tell them you ARE with Universal and would like a tour of the facilities and spec sheets on their equipment, lead times, etc. That'll get the rumors flowing again.
