Default Thief for PS4

Thief Publisher Square Enix has dated Eidos Montreal’s reboot for a February launch. We’ve got a new trailer here.

The game has been dated for a February 25, 2014 launch on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in North America. It drops February 28 in Europe.

I love it when people have my back!

NO multiplayer UNLESS it truly adds to the game.

Not the BS crap that we got for Tomb Raider

Btw, I think this thread should be moved to the Blu-ray Games, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One forum section instead of just the PlayStation 4 section.

Indeed.

What else I noticed & hope isn't true when looking closer at the case.. The coverart isn't like BD at all. The PS4 is part of the cover.

There's no more "empty space" at the top: they're now using the Criterion Collection-type of Blu-ray cases but coloured. Same for Xbox One.

The PS3 version:

So how many of you guys here have played any of the original Thief trilogy of games? I played all of them when they were released, from Thief Gold through Thief 2 and finally Thief Deadly Shadows, all on PC of course. TDS was fantastic, and i've recently bought it again from Gog.com where it has been reengineered to work on modern PC's. Seriously looking forward to Thief (4), shame there is no Stephen Russell voicing Garrett. Time moves on though, and apparently Russell was too old...

Can't say I have ever herd of them until just now. Looks like a fantastic game! Very Assassins Creed like.

Wow you missed some good gameplay in the late 90's

The only one I played was deadly shadows and back in the day (poor looking glass) they really did a great job with the gameplay!

Now having said this I haven't seen much talk about this at all..

Sony have not used security labels since early 2006 so you only need to worry about that with Xbone games. Nintendo don't use them either so not sure why Microsoft insist on it still.

Thief and Thief 2 are still two of my all time favorite games. I absolutely HATED Thief Deadly Shadows. Thief and Thief 2 are prime examples of great Game Play over great graphics. Even at the time they first game out the graphics were not poor but not as good looking as other games coming out at the time. But the game play was so fantastic it you would hardly notice it.
