Default 10000 B.C. (2008)--the next 300? or pathfinder?

hey every one just watching foot ball and saw a trailer for this movie
http://www.10000bcmovie.com/
the trailers right on the front page(can watch in 720p and 1080p)

i think it has the potential to be a little below 300 but could also be a big bust

it is distributed by warner in north america so this one will be a blu-ray exlusive
by the time is hits store shelves (theatrical release begging of march)

I expect the movie to be visually appealing, but not to have much in terms of acting or plot. With that being said, both of the directors past movies (Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow) have been big hits, so my guess is that it is a box office success.

I saw the same ad. Looks like a bust. I think they need to remake Caveman for us. Gotta hurray while Ringo is still around.

They are supposed to put a nice trailer of 1000 BC during the Terminator series on Sunday.
I only hope that Terminator is as good as the previews.

Yeah, this is probably not an "Academy" material...
But should definitely be a blockbuster and an awesome high definition video/audio presentation.

Looks more akin to Apocalypto to me.
It looks like it has potential to be very entertaining.

I for one am interested in this movie because it is going to have some awesome action and special effects. Hopefully it does well because this is going to look awesome on Blu-Ray.

I saw it during the Pats game, too... I thought it looked like someone took Ice Age and mashed it with Apocalypto. Probably gonna be a good popcorn flick.

I personally have VERY low expectaions from the movie. The fact the movie has an early March release show that the studio has little faith in it. My prediction for the moviethat the first weekend will be decent at about 20 million tops then fizzle after that. Even though the director may have done INDEPENDENCE DAY & STARGATE, he also did that crapfest GODZILLA.

Is the Terminator series starting tomorrow?

looks entertaining, plus the new cgi effects will look great on Blu.

But I do see a lot of Apocalypto in it.

HEHE, I was thinking the same thing (10,000 BC could be the next 300). I believe 300 came out around March of last year. I thought the BC commerical was pretty cool but I was thinking it looked a little too heavy CGI (not very realistic). Hopefully it was just the commercial and the movie will be awesome.
