So happy to see they included Asaki yumemishi as a 4th film and we finally have a true release date. Excited to finally get it.

So what happened last year that caused the cancellation/postponement?

I managed to pick this up early today at Arrow's booth at Fantasia Fest in Montreal. I realized after buying it (at a pretty good rate) that it isn't schedule to be released until late August.

Can't wait to get this, ordered from Amazon US. But the listing doesn't mention the inclusion of Asaki yumemishi. Does anyone know if the US release will include it? Hoping not to have to import.

I confirm the set contains four films. The Buddhist trilogy (This Transient Life; Mandala and Poem) as well as It Was a Faint Dream / Asaki yumemishi on its own disc but in Poem's case. I have the North American release without the UK rating logos so I'm pretty sure that should be the same as the US release.

Has anybody gotten their hands on the UK release? I am curious if it is region "B" locked or has "A" and "B" compatibility.

Dual territory Arrow Academy/Arrow Video releases are always encoded for regions A and B (if not region free) simply because it doesn't make sense to author two separate versions when you own rights for both regions.
