Blu-ray Baron
|
![]() ![]() No official thread for this film? Anyway, I picked this up since it was $11.99. I actually thought it was a great movie; mash up between a film noir, buddy cop movie, and gross out shock comedy. I can see someone being disappointed if they went in expecting Meet the Feebles 2 or any one of those genres instead of a hybrid of the three, but I felt it actually was a well done hybrid of those 3 genres. Kind of sad it got trashed so thoroughly. Maybe people didn't get some of the movie reference jokes (some were rather old, referencing movies from the 90s) or felt the jokes were too cheesy, but I thought that just added to the charm. Fair warning though, the digital copy included with the Blu-ray is iTunes only, which is kind of lame since Movies Anywhere is the new platform-neutral standard. Blu-ray PQ was excellent. |
