Good news indeed. I have my sentimental moments (rare) and this is a film I've waited a long time to actually own... don't judge!

Great performance from both actors. I'm sure the scenery will be gorgeous in hi-def. I'm glad WB seems to be picking up the pace on the catalog titles again.

One of the few "chick flicks" that is made so gracefully, intelligently and artfully, that it rises to the level of great cinema. Day One purchase for sure! This one's been long overdue.

I don't consider this a chick flick. It's an honest and raw love story that improves upon the source material. If I could change anything, it would be the present-day bookends, which are cliché and annoying. But Meryl and Clint are so phenomenal that it still rates as one of my favorite movies! So excited this is finally coming to Blu-ray!

For 99% of males, "love story" = "chick flick". I agree that the modern day bookends are the film's weakest link, primarily because the actors are markedly below Meryl's and Clint's level.

I like this one, but come on it's not Eastwood's best. It's like his best worst film.

I've always liked this movie, and I think romances are my least favorite genre. The performances are great and it proves you don't need young/ good looking actors to present a very effective romance story. I read the book a long time ago, as well. I'm looking forward to it.

I don't remember much about this except that I liked it. The MIA Clint Eastwood film I want the most on blu is The Eiger Sanction.

I remember liking both the book and the movie. This novel was just huge in the early 90s... stayed on the best seller's lists for what seemed like forever. Perhaps a bit on the 'chic flick' side but still enjoyable.
