Angel Has Fallen 4K UHD (2019) - Blu-ray Forum

Seems since the pre-orders in both the UK and Germany are up, I figured why not begin a thread for Angel Has Fallen (2019).
Hopefully Sony and Universal will eventually release Olympus Has Fallen (2013) and London Has Fallen (2016) on 4K to match along with this movie. If Lionsgate will do 4K in the US as well, I'd put up the US pre-order link later.

Great for those that loved this movie. Unfortunately that doesn't include me because I didn't like it at all.

I'm hoping Olympus and London will find their way on UHD though because those movies I do love.

@DJR662 I'm going to see this movie at the theatres this Saturday, hopefully it won't disappoint as the first two films were fun guilty pleasures for me.

Have fun, I hope you'll like it! Most people seem to love it and it's doing really well at the box office I believe.

In the U.S., Sony has Olympus, Universal has London, & Lionsgate is releasing Angel.

In the U.K. though Lionsgate has got the rights to all 3.

In my country, a budget company owns the rights to Olympus. They released a 1080i version on a BD25. Hence why I imported the US release.

They are doing a bluray boxset, which really just makes it more frustrating that there's no sign of a uhd one.

Damn shame, as it would have been a day one buy for me.

Probably has something to do with Universal and Sony owning the other movies perhaps? I can't imagine Lionsgate doing UHDs of those in the UK on their own?

Yea I enjoyed it. It was a fun movie .. not great but not terrible.

That was what I was thinking too, there's probably not enough of a profit margin for a release in just one non-US country.
