Default Utterly amazed

I find it hard to believe that with all the classic movies(or not so classic) that everyone wants to be released on Blu-ray that no one has mentioned Monty Python and the Holy Grail. That has to be the best all time for English comedy. I can never get enough of that one. "Is that an African or European Swallow," "How should I know." It's Something like that anyways. Humorous if you know it!!!

I prefer 'Life Of Brian' to 'Holy Grail' myself, so I'll be content with that title until they do decide to release 'Holy Grail'.

"Ridden on a horse?"
"Well, yes."
"You're using coconuts!"
"What?!"
"You've got two empty halves of coconuts and you're banging them together!"

That whole opening scene and the French soldiers get me EVERY time. I'd love to have this one on blu.

One more:

"You don't frighten us, English pigdogs. Go and boil your bottoms, you sons of a silly person. I blow my nose at you so called Arthur King. You and all your silly English Knnnnnnnights!"

Holy grail will need extensive work. The 35mm print I saw a few years ago looked awful, and that was brand new.

The DVD has terrible PQ so unfortunately I think it may be the quality of the master print.

Yeah, I always thought they made the PQ of that movie intentionally crappy... it sure looks that way anyhow.

I just saw Spamalot last week! I would LOVE to get the original movie on BD!
Although it will never look as good as other films (age, budget, etc), it would be welcome in my house.

It's part of the questions from the old man guarding the bridge and the previous question "what is the air speed velocity of swallow..." since the old man didn't know what kind he gets ejected.

I just can't get into that type of humor, then again comedies are not my cup of tea

Some things just shouldn't be on BD.

Hispanics are not big fans of Monty Python humor.

For some reason we really like Benny Hill though.

Perhaps its all the T&A.
