Default Need Suggestions on First Time 4K HDTV Purchase

Need some advice. I'm getting read to purchase my first 4K HDTV and I've been eyeing this Samsung 43" 4K HDTV, Smart TV and I'm wondering if anyone has had any problems with Samsung's 4K Smart HDTVs. Any problems regarding updates for the SmartTV or privacy breaches or anything like that?

In the past, I've heard about problems regardiung smartTVs and I'm actually hesitant about purchasing Smart HDTVs. While this will be the second HDTV I have purchased, it will be my first jump into the 4K market. Just looking for some honest suggestions. I'm looking at a number of 4K HDTVs at Best Buy:

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung...?skuId=6323703

I'm going with either a Samsung or a Sony but I'm looking for suggestions on what would be best for a bedroom 4K HDTV that's also fair quality for standard Blu-ray movies. First time I'll be digging into the 4K Blu-ray market. I'm looking at an affordable HDTV that won't break my wallet in the process.

I'm from the UK but I just got the Samsung 65inch RU8000. its a 2019 model and I'm more then happy with it. It has Apple TV app built in so I can watch my library through that (in 4K if available).
Lovely picture quality. I will say I cant do much in regards to the sound. It doesn't have loads of presets like my previous Sony did.
