I thought there would be a topic but I couldn't find it in search.

Picnic at Hanging Rock is an amazing film. Really loved it.
Australia is a country that produces great movies. Some of my favorites: The Rover Picnic at Hanging Rock Walkabout Predestination Mary and Max Mad Max series Shine Dark City Rabbit-proof Fence (need to rewatch it) Candy The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert The Proposition Muriel's Wedding I'm sure i forgot a few but these are some of my favorites |

I wish the states had more Australian movie releases on blu-ray.

I can't say enough about LAKE MUNGO (2008).. As a horror fan that has lost their taste for horror, I found this to be quite refreshing..
It is genuinely creepy and will take you on an emotional roller coaster from its slow burning setup right through to the end of the credits.. |

Having imported a few Australian released Blu Rays of UK and U.S. films,I think there's loads of potential great movies that haven't seen the light of day on our shores.
They have a number of trailers of Australian films before it gets to the main menu. I don't understand why they aren't released at all in other territories. |
