No 3D on 4K Blu-rays
Last I read was about a year ago that the Blu-ray Disc Association did not include 3D in the final 4K Blu-ray industry specs. Now I'm seeing some new 4K Blu-ray movies on sale... ie The Martian 4k but no 4k-3D.
Is 3D dead for good on 4K or is it something the industry could add in later to the specs and there might be some 4k Blu-ray players that offer it? I think certainly the 4K TV's can do it.. as most of them do 1080 3D right out of the box. I'm just worried 4k will never add it and that would be the death nail for 3D at home in the long run. |
