The movie that basically started the buddy-cop genre of the 80's, can't wait to have this in 4k!

I now have a happy answer to a question I asked myself five years ago in the BLADE RUNNER thread...

The current Blu-Ray transfer isn't that great, so this is an easy upgrade.

Huh? It was remastered and released last year. You're getting that remaster with HDR.

Makes sense considering it's the 40th anniversary and the release date of the 4K UHD is almost the same day it was released in theatres. It was first released on 12/8/82. I hope Another 48 Hours gets released on the same day.

It's too dark!!! It doesn't look anything like how it looked in theaters 40 years ago!!!

(That was a preview of Coming Attractions.)

Why not as a Double Feature like the remastered Blurays? Now I don't know if I should sell the double feature or not...

I'm sorta glad now that these Paramount Presents titles were so overpriced in Canada that I bought almost none of them. Bugsy Malone and A Place in the Sun got standard releases here - same content on disc - so they were a lot cheaper and I grabbed those. The only actual PP edition that I imported was Mommie Dearest (on sale). Now they're starting to get UHD releases that have a cheaper MSRP in Canada than any PP edition. Yay lol.

The Boys are Back in Town (in 4K)! Will def be grabbing 48 Hrs.
