Recently in the Noir Archive Volume 3 thread I posted a wish list of titles that could be used to extend that fine series. Since then, I’ve been thinking wouldn’t it be great if the company would expand its focus and launch a couple of other Archive series? My choices would be “Adventure Archive” and “Western Archive”. Restricting myself just to Columbia (where the Noir Archive has sourced its choices), the 50’s – and color films, I’ve come up with some prospective Blu-ray releases that would have my mouth watering. I can dream, can’t I?

I’d definitely be up for collections like this, as well as more noir collections from the Columbia vault. For films that are probably never going to get separate releases, getting 9 at a time for 30-odd bucks is a no-brainer. I wonder how the Noir Archives have sold? I have a sneaking suspicion they’ve done pretty well - only judging from the enthusiasm towards them here though
