Always have a soft spot for The Guardian. I know it's a more sappy version of Top Gun and maybe Officer and a Gentleman but I really like it.

* all of his films are missing something for me--- they're never stupendous--I've always thought The Fugitive, as good as it is, was overrated and goes on too long.

Under Siege is his most fun and satisfying film....

I've only seen these and have them on BD funnily enough, I recognise the plot of the Gene Hackman film The Package, but don't remember enough about it.

I'm surprised that THE PACKAGE flies under so many people's radar, too.
I think that and UNDER SIEGE are my two faves of his. FUGITIVE just feels like the ending goes on a bit too long, otherwise it'd be up there too. I should probably give it another try, haven't seen it since the theatrical, whereas the other two I rewatch every couple or three years.

CODE OF SILENCE gets honorable mention.

I seen both Chain Reaction and Collateral Damage but do not remember much about them. I saw Under Siege and was not impressed. However not a fan of Steven Seagal at all.
