Entertainment One will release Ken Loach's Sorry We Missed You (2019) on 9 March 2020.

The release will be exclusive to HMV.

it may be cheaper for you in shipping costs to use one of the forwarding services based in the UK, they'll probably have cheaper costs due to business rates

I bought this for my mother as she's a big Ken Loach fan, she seems to enjoy depressing stuff.

Did you check the Blu-Ray chart section? It's number 3 in that, so I doubt they'd have none, they might just not be in the normal A-Z.

The doc is a baffling inclusion as it was already on I, Daniel Blake, was produced during the production of that film (showing some behind the scenes elements), and the online version is branching with interviews from across Loach’s career and is twice the length. Still I suppose it’s something.

There's always a chance Criterion might end up with it, similar to I Daniel Blake.

It never got the critical love or public awareness of Daniel Blake though. I'd be surprised.

I'd also want a Criterion version of 'My Name is Joe' - why hasn't THIS been released on bluray - I'm tempted to purchase the Hidef Vudu streaming version of this movie.

this is a really, really good film. like daniel blake, the research is again stellar as so many of the situations depicted are exactly like that in real life.

bfi helped produce the film so would've been nice to buy this as a bfi release instead hmv only or something. deserves to be seen by as many people as possible.

Kino Lorber will be releasing this in the US on July 7th. It will include a commentary by Loach and Paul Laverty, which is not present on the HMV release in the UK!

I haven't got the UK one yet, so I'll now wait and get this US release instead.
