Addams Family might be in with a shot if the early predictions about Joker drop off being steep come true, but I think Joker is gonna ward off any competition.

Joker is definitely going to be #1. Jexi will flop with around 4 Million. Gemini Man will likely be somewhere in the 20's and Addams Family maybe 18 with a chance of hitting 20. Would be cool if it did well. The studio could use a hit.

Already planning a second viewing for Friday. Last time I saw a movie twice theatrically was Alita.

Joker really deserves more viewings. It's that excellent.

I’m interested in maybe doing a second viewing theatrically, but this week is packed. Already have tickets to Motherless Brooklyn and El Camino on Friday and Saturday, and want to see Gemini Man and Addams Family soon. Then I’ll see Jexi for the Regal/Lionsgate promo (though it definitely is the least interesting of the four), and The King and Parasite also are films I also have some interest in.

Thankfully late October is much less crowded and chance to catch up on things.

It's about as weak as an animated movie can be and still be considered for theatrical release. Kids may still like it, but it really should have gone straight to streaming imho
