I'm planning on upgrading to a 4K TV, new soundbar and a 4K Blu-ray player.
I know that for video I'll need at least HDMI 2.0 cables for 4K. The soundbar I'll likely buy won't be Atmos compatible. The TV I'm looking at only has optical audio output. Will I be better off getting a soundbar with HDMI and Optical inputs and putting the audio straight from the 4K player into the soundbar via HDMI and use the optical for the TV sound or will the optical output have the same quality of audio? |
