Looks like its a steelbook flea market in the word nowadays, So many re-released titles are getting a steel.

I dig the german steelbook design that looks like an old book.

im somewhat as well but its not the first time a movie that didnt do so well at the box office is getting a steel. it is the type of film to get one more so than not these days though. im more surprised how it just sprang up out of the blue with just over 5 weeks to being released.

You can get to the point where the steelbook is nice enough to not worry about the movie inside. Some people sell empty steels on eBay, right? If it looked good enough I would have no second guesses about buying it and getting rid of the movie, one way or another

The world of marketing has discovered that there is a big following for steelbooks. So sooner or later, a lot of movies will have a steelbook even though they have a regular blu ray release already.

Notice how some don'teven bother with a 4K steelbook, that will be for the next years. so as long as there is a big demand for steelbooks, we will see these kind of marketing games.
