I'm intrigued. This seems like a callback to Snowtown. But where as that was on a much smaller scale, the film about this guy sounds challenging to me. I read up about the massacre and it's despicable what happened, so I don't necessarily know how a film can work about this. I'm still on board cause I like when Kurzel does more Australian based films.

Hoping this gets a Blu release, but now that it's been picked up by Stan here I have my doubts unfortunately.

I visited the Port Arthur massacre site about 13 years ago or so, a lovely location soured by such a potent tragedy. Rather humbling place to be.

To me Kurzel hasn't been up to much since his breakout(Snowtown Murders), but this looks like his most interesting project since then.
