TV automatically cropping some 4:3 material?

Killer Meteor Banned Member since:Jan 2013 4K collection:- Blu-ray collection:- DVD collection:-	TV automatically cropping some 4:3 material? My parent's Toshiba LCD TV (2014 model) struggles with a few random 4:3 DVDs output through my Sony blu-ray player (Tales from the Cryptkeeper for example) and automatically outputs them cropped to 16:9, with no way I can see of restoring the cropped footage. I've fooled around with the various pictures settings to no avail. The Blu-ray player's output resolution is set to 'Auto'. Any advice?
