Thats a WB move. This is Lionsgate—they will dole them out piecemeal every few years and be thankful they arent LL store exclusive steelbooks (for now).

Does this confirm an actual release or just a potential Theatrical rerelease for the 20th? Obviously I would love a release and was extremely excited seeing the announcement but holding out pure joy

I doubt they'd explicitly mention it looks 'extra sharp in 4K' if they had no plans for one...

Plus the art in the post looks like it's from the same artist as the steelbook for the first one.

I like the Saw films but I'm not about to rebuy them all at extortionate prices. I'm content with my 1-7 BD collection which I bought for a tenner.

Zero mention of any of these being uncut/unrated, and these also being steelbook only (AND it being doubtful they're even bothering to include the old unrated blu) I'm gonna pass on all of them.

Lionsgate is taking the piss, I thought they'd been pretty good so far including what fans have been asking for with their discs. But releasing r-rated versions of films that have had unrated discs for YEARS while not bothering to upscale or include the uncut versions at all is just ridiculous. All as Amazon exclusive steelbooks too, lmao.
