What's the nature of this 4K version? A proper remaster or upscale? Was the film shot digitally? And at what res if so?

Not sure if I wanna upgrade my Blu-ray.

Do we know what's on ther 3rd disc, seems to be exclusive to the SB. Ordered it just to be safe.

The GRUV listing shows the extras, but nothing on there seems to require a 3rd disc.

I believe the SteelBook is a combo-pack and that the additional disc is the standard Blu-ray, similar to what Warner Bros. have been doing with their SteelBook releases, but I could be wrong.

Actually, you're right. I zoomed in on the Walmart listing photo. I ordered via GRUV and their photo wasn't as clear when I checked.

Deluxe Collector’s Edition is up in the main thread Godzilla Store Exclusive, does add a 4th disc which is Orthochromatic. SteelBook as mentioned above is the movie on both UHD and BD, and extras disc, but lacks the B&W version.

Well, Gruv got me this time, but only because it's this release and I learned my lesson from missing out on the Weapons steelbook.

Still, at the risk of beating a dead horse, I really hate how Gruv now charges us upfront for pre-orders.

I wish they would go back to the old way of charging only once the item ships.
