Default Just bought a Sony TV and Klipsch sound bar

I got a Sony XBR65X950G and the Klipsch Bar 48 soundbar. Currently I have the soundbar plugged in via HDMI to the HDMI ARC port on the tv and I have earc turned on on the tv.

I was wondering if there is anything else I can to to get the best audio I can out of the soundbar. I am going to buy an optical cable cause the soundbar did not come with one and I heard that optical is the best way to go for audio. but outside that are there any settings on the tv I should change?

eARC via HDMI is better than optical. Optical can only carry lossy audio signals (1.5mbps PCM stereo, 1.5mbps DTS 5.1 and 640kbps Dolby Digital 5.1). Otherwise just check the sound settings on the TV to ensure the EQ levels are to your liking, but there shouldn't be much else that needs adjusting.
